RAWALPINDI: Pakistan T20 captain Salman Ali Agha has set a world record for playing the most international matches in a calendar year.
He surpassed legends like Rahul Dravid, Ms Dhoni and Muhammad Yousuf.
Pakistan have played a total of 56 international matches in 2025, the most by any team this year, Agha is the only player who play all these matches in this year.
First time in the history, the feat of surpassing 50 matches in single year achieved by Sachin Tendulkar in 1997, and most recently by New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell, who played 51 games in 2023.
