LAHORE: Shaheen Shah Afridi has passed the fitness test, and there is a bright possibility of him being included in the national squad for the home series from Australia.

According to the details, Shaheen Afridi’s fitness test was conducted 2 days ago, which especially took into account the workload and long-term availability.

After a careful review of all aspects, medical experts and team management declared him fit to play cricket again.

The left-arm fast bowler will now be available for the national team. It is expected that he will be seen in action in the home T20 series against Australia.

Shaheen Afridi suffered a right knee injury in the match against Adelaide Strikers while representing Brisbane Heat on December 27 during the Big Bash.

He had to leave the field after feeling pain in the 14th over of the match. Later, he returned home after being ruled out of the remaining matches of the tournament.
