Surya Kumar confident ahead of high-voltage clash against Pakistan

COLOMBO: Indian captain Surya Kumar expressed confidence in his team’s preparations before the match against Pakistan.

During a press conference in Colombo, the Indian captain said that Pakistan’s spin attack is very strong and the strategy has been prepared keeping this in mind.

He said that we have made regular plans about the Pakistani players and our batters are playing responsibly.

Surya Kumar Yadav added that pressure is natural in big matches but the team’s focus is on playing positive cricket.

He clarified that the players will take to the field with complete concentration and will try to perform their best in every department.

When asked by a journalist about the handshake after the match, the Indian captain smiled and replied, “Wait a bit, eat good bread, tomorrow we will know what is going to happen.” His answer caused laughter among the journalists present at the press conference.
