U-19 Asia Cup: Pakistan qualifies for semi-finals

DUBAI: Pakistan defeated the United Arab Emirates (Pak u19 vs UAE u19) by 70 runs to qualify for the semi-finals of the Under-19 Asia Cup cricket.

In their final group match played in Dubai, Pakistan scored 241 runs for 9 wickets against the United Arab Emirates.

Ahmed Hussain played a prominent innings of 65, and Sameer Minhas played a prominent innings of 44 runs, while Hamza Zahoor also scored 42 runs.

UAE bowler Yug Sharma took 3 wickets, and Naseem Khan took 2 wickets.

Chasing the target, the UAE team was bowled out for 171 runs in the 38th over. Iyan Misbah scored 77 runs while Prithvi Madhu played an innings of 27 runs.

Pakistan’s Abdul Subhan bowled brilliantly, taking 4 wickets. As a result of this victory, Pakistan qualified for the semi-finals of the event.
