Albania appoints AI-powered digital minister to tackle corruption

TIRANE: Albania has appointed a digital minister equipped with AI to combat corruption.

According to foreign media, the digital assistant is shown as a woman wearing traditional Albanian clothing. The digital minister has been named Dayla.

Yesterday, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama announced the digital minister in the cabinet, who guides people in using online government services.

Dayla is the first cabinet member who is not physically present but has been created virtually through artificial intelligence.

According to the report, the digital minister will be responsible for decisions on all government tenders.
