SYDNEY: Popular online graphic design tool Canva had a major outage beginning early May 26. Users were said to have limited access to edit or download photos on both mobile apps and the website.
When customers tried to alter their designs, reports suggest the system either replied slowly or not at all. DownDetector estimates that roughly 1,200 users experienced problems.
Users all around the world, including Pakistan, India, and Banglades,h were affected by the outageWorkflow disturbances were experienced by content creators, marketers, and professionals depending on Canva for their design demands.
It started with exporting/downloading mistakes that swiftly descended to severe failures on several sites. Netizens rapidly ascended to X (previously Twitter) and other social media channels to voice their anger and post memes about the event.
Users looking for alternatives in the meantime might think about open-source design tools like GIMP, Promeo, PhotoPea, and Lunacy.
Still, these tools provide a range of options that can assist users in keeping their design assignments running as Canva tries to fix the problems.
More than an hour of outage saw the site return to normal; however, some users may still experience minor delays and anomalies. After more than fifty minutes, Canva Updates joked, “A fix has been put and we are watching the results.”
