iPhone 16 series can be registered with PTA on easy installments

CALIFORNIA: iPhone 16 Pro users can register their phones with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on easy installments.

Bank Alfalah, with no interest (0% interest), has introduced the offers for the facilitation of iPhone users.

Through Bank Alfalah’s ‘Alfa’ app, users can now pay the PTA tax for the Phone 16 Pro in stages. This facility is available only to Bank Alfalah credit card holders.

According to the installment details, the monthly installment for the 36-month plan is Rs 7,443, for 24 months it is Rs 9,602, for 12 months it is Rs 16,116, while for 9 months it is Rs 20,467.

Similarly, the installments for 6 months are Rs 26,116 and for 3 months, Rs 52,233, on which no interest will be applicable. However, a 5 percent processing fee will be charged for the 0 percent markup plan.

To avail this facility, users can visit the ‘Alpha Mall’ website or app and enter their phone’s IMEI number, name, and National Identity Card Number (CNIC). After that, the installment plan can be selected through the ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ option.

It should be remembered that the iPhone 16 Pro includes a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, Apple A18 Pro chip, 8 GB RAM, up to 1 TB storage, 48 megapixel camera setup, and iOS 18.

According to technology experts, this move will create convenience for users who are fond of expensive smartphones, and the trend of PTA registration in a legal manner is expected to increase.
