The National Information Technology Board (NITB) and Ministry of Human Rights (MoHR) have launched an online app for the parents of differently-abled children to connect them with the world around them.

Details indicate that the National IT Board is integrating some 30,000 children with disabilities who are not enrolled in school into the regular educational system.

It will help students choose appropriate schools close to where they live so they may apply online without having to visit the required location in person.

The App will inform the people and parents about the services and facilities available in the DGSE’s centers and institutes as well as in the FDE schools for inclusive education.

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) revealed announced plans to create four parks for the city’s disabled residents last year.

The decision was announced by Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab in a post shared on X.

Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Mayor of Karachi, stated the KMC’s dedication to improving the lives of people with disabilities during a meeting at the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD) office.

The DEPD will acquire ownership of the proposed parks, guaranteeing their conversion into fully accessible areas.
