A new study by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab has shown that using this AI chatbot affects our brains and emotional well-being.

Millions of people around the world use ChatGPT, a chatbot based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology, every day.

The MIT Media Lab study included 54 people aged 18 to 39. These people were divided into 3 groups and one was given ChatGPT, the other was given the Google search engine, and the third was instructed to write several articles on their own.

They discovered that the group that relied on ChatGPT for articles used their brains less, had negative effects on memory, and focused less on work.

The researchers recorded the brain activity of these people using EEG.

The study showed that although AI tools like ChatGPT increase work efficiency, relying on them can make most of us dull or lazy.

According to the researchers, over the course of several months, people who used ChatGPT became slower with each article they wrote; by the end of the study, they were just copy-pasting.

The study indicated that the use of AI models damages the brain’s learning process, especially for young users are more affected.

The results of the study have not yet been published in a reputable journal, although the number of people involved was not large, but the researchers believe the results are very important.

It is important to know what effects AI models have on the brain in the long term, especially on the young brain.
