NEW YORK: WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature for the andriod users to scan documents while staying within the app.

This feature was available to iOS users of WhatsApp for a long time, but now Android users can also use it.

This feature has been made part of the document sharing menu.

After this addition, users can scan any document with the device’s camera, and they do not need any scanning tool or app.

This feature will prove useful for users who have to share a document with someone.

The method of using the feature is also very easy.

When the document sharing menu is opened by the user, they will have to select the scan option in the third place.

Selecting this option will activate the camera, after which the document can be scanned.

After scanning, users will also be able to see its preview and make changes accordingly.

The margin will be automatically suggested by the app, but users will be able to adjust it as per their wishes.

When the user is satisfied with the scan, they can then send it to an individual or group chat.

This feature of WhatsApp will have the best scanning quality, and it will be possible to read the documents easily.
