PTCL announces 7-day internet disruption

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Limited (PTCL) has announced scheduled maintenance to repair a key submarine cable, which will cause internet service to be down for 7 days.

According to the announcement made by PTCL, the repair work of the submarine cable will start from April 14 and will continue till April 20.

PTCL ​​says that internet service may be affected during the evening hours during the repair.

PTCL ​​will repair the fault in the submarine cable with the help of an international cable consortium.
