SEOUL: Samsung launches Galaxy Z TriFold, a folding phone with two hinges so its internal screen opens out to be the size of a 10-inch tablet.

South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has officially launched its latest ‘Galaxy Z Trifold’ smartphone in the UAE, making it one of the five lucky countries in the world where the device was first introduced.

According to Samsung officials, this phone has a first-of-its-kind tri-folding design that transforms from a regular smartphone into a large 10-inch tablet-like display when needed.

Equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a 200-megapixel camera, this device also includes advanced ‘Galaxy AI’ features that make office and creative tasks easier.

Samsung officials say that this phone, which has a strong titanium frame and a long-lasting battery, has been sold in stores and online platforms across the UAE since December 19.

While the price of the ‘Galaxy Z Trifold’ smartphone in Pakistan is expected to start at around 692,000, it will soon be available to consumers in Pakistan.
