ISLAMABAD: In a significant move towards becoming a paperless institution, the Senate of Pakistan has introduced an E-Filing system, marking a major milestone in its digitalization journey.

The new system has been launched in four branches of the Senate Secretariat – Transport, Admin, Printing, and Publication – as part of a pilot testing phase.

Once the pilot phase is complete, the E-Filing software will be rolled out to other branches of the Secretariat, revolutionizing the way the Senate operates.

Moreover, Secretary of the Senate, Syed Hasnain Haider, has praised the IT officials for their efforts and emphasized the need for swift completion of the digitalization process.

The introduction of E-Filing is expected to bring numerous benefits, including streamlined operations, enhanced efficiency, and a significant reduction in the environmental impact of traditional paper-based processes.

This move represents a crucial step towards creating a more modern, transparent, and sustainable legislative environment.

Senior officers of the Senate Secretariat attended the launch of the E-Filing system, marking a significant moment in the Senate’s journey towards digitalization and paperless operations.
