RAWALPINDI: 27 terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation by security forces in the Kachi area of Balochistan, here on Monday.
According to the ISPR, the security forces carried out an effective operation on the hideout of the terrorists and surrounded the hideout. 27 terrorists were killed in a fierce exchange of fire.
The ISPR said that the hideout, weapons and ammunition of the terrorists were also destroyed during the operation.
According to the ISPR, the slain terrorists were involved in terrorist acts against the forces and civilians and were highly wanted by the law enforcement agencies.
The ISPR said that the security forces are determined to thwart attempts to sabotage the peace, stability and development of Balochistan.
