ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital witnessed light sunlight in the morning after which the weather remained pleasant with light chilling winds blowing in the city. However, the temperatures are set to drop again during the night providing cooler nights in the federal capital.
The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 18 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 7 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 38 to 40% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 3 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 0% today.
According to the Met Office, Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while severe cold is expected in the upper areas. Moderate to severe fog is expected in the plain areas of Punjab, upper Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Haze is also expected in Islamabad, Potohar region, Kashmir and some plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the morning hours.
