Islamabad weather forecast: Intermittent rainfall, gusty winds expected at night

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that in Islamabad and its surroundings, the weather will be humid and partly cloudy, with the possibility of light rain in the afternoon or evening, accompanied by strong winds, and thunder.

The maximum temperatures expected in the federal capital are anticipated at 36 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperatures will range up to 26 degrees Celsius.

Humidity levels will range between 55 to 62%. In addition, the wind is blowing at the speed of 18 km/h in the southwest direction.

Moreover, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts rain, and thundershowers likely in parts of Sindh, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, East Balochistan, East Punjab, the Pothohar region, and Islamabad. In Southeast and Lower Sindh, stormy and heavy rain is anticipated at some locations.

In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, partly cloudy skies are expected, with chances of thunder and rain at a few locations.

Residents are advised to carry umbrellas when traveling during nighttime and stay updated with the latest weather forecast.
