ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital are enjoying moderate to heavy rainfall today providing some relief from the recent intense heat and humidity. The Pakistan Metreological Department predicted a new rainfall spell to start on September 26, which is expected to last until October 1, 2024.
The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 29 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 21 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 60 to 63% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 18 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 5% today.
Moreover, the Met Office predicts that the weather in most parts of the country will remain hot and dry except, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Islamabad, Lahore, and Kashmir will likely receive a break from harsh weather with moderate to heavy rainfall starting from today.
