ISLAMABAD: The residents of Islamabad experienced heavy rainfall from morning, whereas light cool wind blew all day long, making the weather bearable as compared to the last few days.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, Heavy rains may generate flash floods in local nullahs/streams of Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pothohar region, and North-East Punjab.
Seasonal low lies over central Balochistan. Strong moist currents from the Bay of Bengal & Arabian Sea are penetrating into the country. A westerly wave is also affecting the country.
