Islamabad weather: Scattered thunderstorms expected during night in capital city

ISLAMABAD: The residents of the Federal capital are witnessing light rainfall during the day, whereas moderate to heavy rainfall is expected during the night.

The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 28 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 23 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 40% to 55% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at a speed of 11 km/h. Whereas the chance of precipitation is up to 10 % today.

Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted partly cloudy weather in most districts of Sindh and rain with gusty winds and thunderstorms in Karachi, Sanghar, Umarkot, Matiari, Mithi, Thatta, Sukkur, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Chhor, Jacobabad, Larkana, Dadu, Mirpur Khas, Shaheed Benazir Abad, Khairpur, and adjacent areas.

Heavy rain and hailstorms may also occur at some locations during the wet spell. The weather is likely to be hot and dry in most districts of the province on Tuesday, but dust storms and strong winds with rain are likely in Umarkot, Thar Parkar, and Mirpur Khas.

Rain is also likely in lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern and southern Punjab, northeastern Baluchistan, and Kashmir. Intermittent heavy rain is likely at some locations in southeastern Sindh and southern Punjab.
