ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital witnessed light rain in night after which the with bright sunlight in the morning. However, the temperatures are set to drop below freezing point accompanied by gusty winds during the night causing chilling weather in the federal capital.
The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 17 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 07 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 40 to 48% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 6 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 1% today.
According to the Met Office, The weather is expected to remain cold and dry in most parts of the country on Tuesday. However, rain and snowfall in the mountains are expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and southwestern Balochistan.
