ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital witnessed light rainfall at night after which the weather remained pleasant with light chilling winds blowing in the city. However, the temperatures are set to drop below freezing point accompanied by light rainfall during the night causing chilling weather in the federal capital.
The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 18 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 08 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 45 to 50% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 5 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 10% today.
According to the Met Office, Light rain and snowfall in the mountains are expected in North Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Potohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir. Moderate to heavy fog is expected in most plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.
