Karachi weather: Dry spell to continue in port city

KARACHI: The Paki­stan Meteorological Depart­ment (PMD) has predicted dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours, however, citizens are set to experience warmer days ahead as compared to the previous week.

Today, Karachi experienced mainly dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 28°C to 22°C. The humidity in the city varies up to 43% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of 16 km/h.

According to the Met Office, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, cloudy weather with rain-wind/thunderstorm (snowfall over hills) is likely in North/Northwestern Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and Upper/Central Punjab during evening/night.
