Karachi weather forecast: hot and dry weather to prevail in the city

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts that Karachi, Hyderabad, and most parts of Sindh will experience mainly hot and dry weather over the weekend.

However, isolated Dust-Thunderstorm/Rain may occur in the Jamshoro & Thatta districts. On Wednesday, the city will remain hot and dry including other cities of the province. Dust-raising/gusty winds are expected in upper districts during the afternoon

Outlook for the Next 48 hrs

Hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the province. However, hot and humid weather is expected along the coast.

Past 24 hours

During the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather was observed in Hyderabad, Karachi, and other districts of Sindh. Nawabshah recorded the highest temperature in the province, reaching 40 degrees Celsius, with a relative humidity of 54 percent in the evening. Karachi recorded a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius with a relative humidity of 66 percent, while Hyderabad recorded a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius with a relative humidity of 69 percent in the evening.
