KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot and humid weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours.

Today, Karachi experienced mainly dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 13°C. However, the city will witness a significant drop in temperatures as winter is scattering its roots in Pakistan. The humidity in the city varies up to 17% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of  5 km/h.

According to Met Office’s latest predictions, the weather is likely to be cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it will be extremely cold in the mountainous areas. However, light rain and snowfall are expected at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Cold winds are likely to blow in Punjab and Sindh in the evening/night.
