Snowfall stops in Murree, roads likely to reopen soon

MURREE: The roads in the Murree district are likely to open after a record-breaking snow in 20 years, according to media reports.

Due to heavy snowfall in Murree, several roads have been covered with snow, and the entry of more vehicles has been banned.

The district administration is on high alert due to severe weather conditions, while MIT Road, adjacent to Jhikka Gali, has been cleared and opened.

On the other hand, a spokesperson for the Galiyat Development Authority said that there is no information about any tourists getting trapped or getting hurt in Galiyat.

Furthermore, it is being said that the roads will open soon after the snowfall in Murree stops.
