Weather alert: Heavy rainfall, gusty winds expected across Pakistan including Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The residents of Twin cities are expected to enjoy heavy rainstorms and gusty winds, providing a break from the recent heatwave in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The latest weather forecast predicted rain, storms, and hail have been forecast for many parts of the country, including the capital Islamabad, today.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), some rain is expected today in Islamabad, northeast Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Balochistan, and Kashmir.
Other than these places, PMD stated it will be hot and dry with Sibi, the hottest place today, possibly reaching 50 degrees.
