ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is set to experience hot and dry weather in the next few days with temperatures ranging up to 38°C, where the department recorded humidity at 76% in the air in the morning.

However, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Pakistan is bracing for a new rainy system to hit Peshawar and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa next week, specifically around September 26,

Going region to region Met Office presents a breakdown of the weather forecast for other major cities in Pakistan:

In Karachi, the next 24 hours will be hot and humid, with a minimum temperature of 27°C and a maximum of 33-35°C. Winds are blowing from the west at 14 km/h, with 81% humidity.

In the federal capital, the residents will witness hot and humid weather ranging up to 34 degrees Celcius, whereas the humidity level is between 40 to 47 degrees. Winds are blowing at the speed of 3 km/h.

Moreover, similar to Islamabad, Rawalpindi is also set to witness high temperatures till September 26 with moderate chances of precipitation.

According to PMD, the weather forecast in Lahore states that the hot weather will persist in the city with no potential signs of rain ahead.

For the rest of the country, hot and dry weather is expected to prevail for at least the next five days.
