Islamabad weather forecast: Temperatures set to rise in federal capital

ISLAMABAD: Hot and Humid conditions are expected to continue in the federal capital for the next few days with light wind expected in the evening. However, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts no potential signs of rain.

The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 34 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 24 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 43 to 45% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 0 km/h.

The Met Office predicts that the weather in most parts of the country will remain hot and dry except, in Gilgit-Baltistan, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the sky is expected to be partly cloudy, with a few places likely to experience rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms.

Residents are advised to carry water bottles and an umbrella when going out for longer periods to avoid any potential damage from heat waves.
