6.2 quake jolts Sulawesi, no Tsunami alert issued

JAKARTA: A 6.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Indonesia, but no tsunami warning was issued.

The earthquake was felt in the coastal area of ​​Sulawesi, the depth of the earthquake is said to be about 105 kilometers.

The earthquake spread panic among the people, but no immediate damage was reported. Security agencies have instructed the public to be cautious in view of possible aftershocks after the earthquake.

It should be noted that a few weeks ago, a 6.6 magnitude earthquake occurred near the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.
