Israeli authorities allowed worshippers to enter the mosque early in the morning after reopening the mosque, upon which a large number of worshippers headed to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Israel has also announced the reopening of holy sites in occupied Jerusalem this morning.
It should be remembered that Israel had closed the holy sites in occupied Jerusalem after the Iran-Iraq war.
