Andy Burnham becomes UK's 59th Prime Minister

LONDON: Andy Burnham became the 59th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom after the formal resignation of former Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

According to media reports, Andy Burnham arrived at Buckingham Palace, where he met with King Charles and took over the post of Prime Minister after accepting the offer of the position.

Andy Burnham has also been appointed Lord of the Treasury. Burnham is expected to demonstrate a more stable and responsible approach to the government.

In addition, the new Prime Minister is also expected to pledge to ‘refund’ the United Kingdom after years of political turmoil and economic uncertainty.

After taking office, Andy Burnham arrived at 10 Downing Street, where he expressed his determination to restore public trust by focusing on the everyday problems of working people.

In his speech, he said that this is a historic moment for me. I will work for reform in the country’s politics and not limit it to a few areas.

He said that he will provide Britain with a new economic model. He will show the world that we can restore stability. He will help the youth with changes in the education system, and from tomorrow, he will announce measures to relieve inflation.
