TEHRAN: The head of the Iranian negotiating delegation, Baqir Qalibaf, said that the US has understood Iran’s position and principles. He said that now the US has to decide whether it can gain our trust or not.

In a statement, Baqir Qalibaf said that he is grateful for Pakistan’s efforts in making the negotiation process possible. The Iranian delegation presented future-oriented proposals. The opposing side failed to gain the trust of the Iranian delegation at this stage.

On the other hand, the US has given Iran a final offer. Vice President JD Vance said that there was no deal, they are making the best offer. We need a clear assurance that we will not build nuclear weapons. We are waiting for a response. JD Vance said that we have shown flexibility. Tehran did not accept the conditions. He said that Pakistan played a constructive role for peace.
