WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump says that China is very happy that I am opening the Strait of Hormuz permanently and I am doing this for the world and for China.

According to President Trump, he had written a letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping requesting that China not supply weapons to Iran, to which China has agreed.

President Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, that China is very happy that I am opening the Strait of Hormuz permanently.

President Trump added that the Strait of Hormuz will never be closed again. China has agreed not to supply weapons to Iran in return.

He said that when I go to China in the next few weeks, the Chinese President will give me a big and passionate hug. Trump said that the Chinese President and I are working together very wisely and in a great way.

At the same time, Trump asked, “Wouldn’t this good deed stop the war?” However, he said, “Remember, Americans are very good at fighting. If we have to fight, Americans will prove themselves better than anyone else.”
