ISLAMABAD: Reports claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s brother, Iddo, died and National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir sustained serious injuries during recent Iranian attacks have been proven to be entirely incorrect.
Social media platforms and selected regional outlets started spreading false information about an Israeli-Iranian conflict, which began in March 2026.
The hoax claims that an Iranian missile attacked Ben Gvir’s home and a site which belonged to the Netanyahu family. However, official documents and field assessments show that no such strikes took place.
Israeli media analysts have quickly rejected the allegations because Amit Segal from Channel 12 declared, “It is fake news.” Jerusalem local officials verified that sirens sounded during the incident, but no injuries, damage, or interceptions took place around the Prime Minister’s office area.
The rumors about Ben Gvir’s injury were based on old footage that showed a 2024 car accident. Prime Minister Netanyahu continues his work after the US-Israeli military operations, which occurred.
Netanyahu spoke from the Kirya military headquarters, declaring, “Our forces are now pounding in the heart of Tehran in increasing intensity.”
The evidence currently available does not prove that Iddo Netanyahu or Itamar Ben Gvir sustained any injuries
Meanwhile, An Iranian news agency has published a report based on speculation that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been injured or killed, but no concrete evidence was presented to support the claim.
According to the report, the Iranian news agency Tasnim News said in an article that doubts have been raised about Netanyahu in recent days due to the lack of new videos of him, the tightening of security around his residence and the postponement of some diplomatic meetings.
