Global protests erupt against US operation in Venezuela

ISLAMABAD: A demonstration was held outside the White House in Washington against the US military operation in Venezuela and President Donald Trump‘s statement to keep Venezuela under control.

Protesters gathered in large numbers outside the White House and chanted slogans and waved banners saying ‘No war on Venezuela’.

Meanwhile, protesters held a rally in Times Square in New York City and demanded the arrest of President Donald Trump.

In addition, left-wing protesters in Paris condemned the US attacks on Venezuela and waved Venezuelan flags.

Thousands of people marched in the Greek capital Athens against the arrest of Venezuelan President Maduro.

In Rome, Italian citizens protested against the US operation in Venezuela and demonstrations were also held in Argentina and Colombia against the US attack.

It should be noted that while holding a press conference in Florida, President Donald Trump announced criminal charges against Venezuelan President Maduro and said that Maduro and his wife are being transferred to New York, they will be brought to justice.
