Donald Trump claims ending Pak-Afghan war ‘very easy’ for him

Deal with Iran be signed by tonight: Donald Trump

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has once again mentioned his achievements in global conflicts and claimed that ending the Pak-Afghan war is ‘very easy’ for him.

According to media reports, President Trump, while talking to reporters in the Oval Office, said that during his presidency, he stopped 8 major wars, including the Pakistan-India war.

According to him, he played an important role in peace in many parts of the world.

Trump further said that Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had told him that he saved millions of lives by stopping the Pakistan-India war, and the Pakistani people are grateful for this step.

On the other hand, Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban administration have agreed to extend the ceasefire announced 2 days ago. Both countries have decided that the 48-hour ceasefire should be maintained until the end of the ongoing talks in Doha.

A Pakistani delegation is arriving in Doha today to participate in talks, while a delegation from the Afghan Taliban is also scheduled to arrive there. The parties are hoping that the talks will help reduce border tensions and advance the peace process.
