RIYADH: The Saudi government has categorically refused to allow people holding visit visas to perform Hajj.
A statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Interior said that no person coming to the kingdom on a visit visa will be allowed to perform Hajj. The authorities made it clear in a clear manner that obtaining a regular Hajj permit is mandatory for Hajj and no one without a permit will be eligible to perform this duty.
According to the Ministry of Interior, all pilgrims have been instructed to strictly follow the rules and regulations set during the Hajj season. The statement warned that strict legal action will be taken against those who violate the rules.
The authorities have appealed to the pilgrims to fully cooperate with the administration to maintain security and order and immediately report any illegal activity to the relevant institutions.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior says that these measures are aimed at providing better facilities to pilgrims during the Hajj and ensuring overall order.
