TOKYO: An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale has been felt in Japan’s Kanagawa Prefecture.
According to foreign media, the Japan Meteorological Agency said the earthquake occurred at 1:20 pm local time.
According to reports, the epicenter of the earthquake was 10 kilometers below the surface. There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage.
It should be remembered that an earthquake was felt in the eastern region of Japan earlier this month, but no tsunami warning was issued.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said the earthquake was felt in Ibaraki Prefecture at 10:06 am on Wednesday.
