Pakistani-American Salman Bhojani secures victory as democrat candidate

TEXAS: Pakistani-American Salman Bhojani has made history by securing a second term in the Texas State Assembly, representing District 92 as a Democrat.

Born in Pakistan, Bhojani immigrated to the United States and became a trailblazer in Texas politics. He first took office on January 10, 2023, after defeating Republican opponent Joe Livingston in the 2022 election, securing 20,182 votes to Livingston’s 14,610.
