Saudi Arabia announces four-day Eid-ul-Fitr holidays

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s authorities have announced a four-day Eid-ul-Fitr holiday for the private and non-profit sectors, as reported by local media.

As per the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the holiday is scheduled to commence on the 29th of Ramadan, falling on April 8, Monday, at the conclusion of the workday. Employees are granted the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday until Thursday.

The ministry emphasized the importance of adhering to the regulations outlined in the second paragraph of Article 24 of the executive regulation of the Labor Law.

With Friday and Saturday already designated as weekends in the Kingdom, employees can enjoy a six-day break. Work in both the public and private sectors will resume on Sunday, April 14.
