Spain train collision kills 21, over 100 injured

ISLAMABAD: A horrific collision between two trains in Spain has killed 21 people.

A high-speed passenger train suddenly derailed and collided with a train coming from the opposite direction, causing both trains to overturn.

According to the news agency, 21 people died on the spot in the collision of the trains, more than 100 people were injured, of whom 21 are said to be in critical condition.

The driver of the train from Madrid to Huelva has also died in the accident. At the time of the accident, more than 300 people were on board one train, while about 100 people were on board the other train.
