Bus-truck collision leave six dead,18 injured in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH: In a tragic incident, at least six people died and 18 others were injured in a road accident between a passenger bus and a trailer on Saturday.

The deceased includes two men, two women, and two children, as per the police officials, adding that the collision occurred near the Langar Sarai area

The bus was en route from Jhang to Ali Pur when the accident happened.

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police confirmed that the bus driver also lost his life in the crash.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the chief minister of Punjab, conveyed her profound sadness and grief over the terrible loss of life in a traffic accident involving a trailer and a passenger bus colliding close to Muzaffargarh.

The CM prayed for the departed souls and offered her sincere condolences to the families of the deceased.

She also sent her condolences to the injured and instructed the government to make sure they get the finest medical care available as soon as feasible.
