UAE President vows to protect nation amid war tensions

DUBAI: The first public statement of the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan after the Iran-Iraq War has been revealed.

According to Emirati media, in an interview with Emirati TV while visiting those injured during the war in a hospital in Abu Dhabi, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that the nation is at war, we will fulfill our duty for our country, people and residents who are part of our family.

The Emirati President said that the UAE is not an easy prey, we have strong strength and firm determination, and will protect everyone in all seven states of the UAE, including Dubai.

He thanked the efforts of the armed forces, security agencies and national institutions and also praised the citizens and residents who expressed their love for the Emirates.

On the other hand, the Emirati Ministry of Interior said in a statement released on social media that the Emirati air defense systems are responding to missile threats.

The Emirati Ministry of Interior has instructed citizens to stay in a safe place and follow the instructions available on the government website.
