KARACHI: Good news for all those who are interested in purchasing a crossover SUV: It just became affordable as Hyundai Santa Fe prices underwent a significant slash.
In an effort to stimulate sales, Hyundai rolled out a temporary discount on its best-selling Santa Fe SUV, making it affordable even after recent industry-wide price increases.
Days following the price adjustment over the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Levy, the local car maker is now offering customers the opportunity to save significantly on two high-end models of the Santa Fe under a promotional offer.
People who want to purchase the AWD model receive a Rs7lac discount since the car is on sale for 14,295,000. Santa Fe Smart FWD also comes at a lower price since it previously cost 13,250,000, while now it’s priced at 12,850,000, so you save Rs4Lac.
This offer will only last until July 31, 2025, so if you are considering purchasing, now is a good time to take advantage of cheaper prices.
Santa Fe Signature AWD 14,995,000 14,295,000 700,000
Santa Fe Smart FWD 13,250,000 12,850,000 400,000
The limited discount offer is for a period until July 31, 2025, and the buyers have a short time to avail of the Santa Fe at a much lower price.
Previously, Suzuki and other automakers increased prices across their entire model lineup following new tax initiatives in Pakistan’s 2025–26 federal budget. The alterations comprise a hike in General Sales Tax (GST) from 12.5% to 18% on cars up to 850cc and a 1% Green Tax on all internal combustion engine (ICE) cars.
These levies have considerably increased the prices of Suzuki vehicles, particularly mass-market models such as Alto and Bolan. The action is part of the government’s bid to increase revenue and encourage environmentally friendly cars. Nevertheless, industry experts caution that the price increase could discourage demand within the budget segment and drive customers towards used vehicles.
