ISLAMABAD: The average retail price of cement per sack has witnessed a slight decrease in northern parts of the country, while a marginal increase was recorded in southern regions during the past week, according to official data.
The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics weekly report stated that in the week ending May 14, the average retail price of cement per 50kg sack in northern cities stood at Rs1,526, marking a 0.16 percent decrease compared to the previous week’s Rs1,528.
In southern regions, the average price was recorded at Rs1,540, showing a slight increase of 0.03 percent from Rs1,539 in the previous week.
