PESHAWAR: CNG stations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were reopened from today. It was announced by the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at a news conference in Islamabad.
He said uninterrupted gas supply will be ensured to CNG stations from six in the morning to six in the evening daily.
Centre refuses gas supply to KP CNG stations
The federal government has refused to provide gas to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for CNG stations.
According to media reports, Provincial Finance Advisor Muzammil Aslam made a telephonic contact with Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik, after which Muzammil Aslam informed the Chief Minister about the federal government’s response.
According to reports, Muzammil Aslam said that the people are facing severe difficulties due to the CNG shutdown.
Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik said that there is a shortage of gas in the country, and additional gas will be considered after importing LNG.
