Global crude prices hit 5-year low, Pakistan sees fuel price drop

ISLAMABAD: Crude oil prices in the global market have fallen to a 5-year low.

Brent crude oil has fallen by 3% to $58.92 per barrel, while US crude oil has fallen by 2.7% to $55.27 per barrel.

Experts say that the Ukraine peace agreement may affect the oil market, in addition, the logistical obstacles created by sanctions on Russian oil are likely to be eliminated.

The decline in global crude oil prices has also affected the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan, and the prices of petroleum products have decreased.
