KARACHI: There is great good news for the Pakistani economy that large gas reserves have been discovered.
According to a private TV, these gas reserves have been discovered in the Kulchas South Block of Balochistan and Mari Energy has discovered gas reserves in the Teri One well.
According to the company statement, the Teri One well was drilled in Barkhan district. Initial tests reported a gas flow of 11 mmscfd from the well, while the wellhead flowing pressure at the well was recorded at 561 psi.
Mari Energy has informed the stock market about this discovery through a letter, while further testing is underway and the full production capacity of the gas is being tested.
Meanwhile, Mari Energy has announced that it will continue to explore the country’s hydrocarbon resources.
