Karachi gas crisis worsens, citizens face severe hardship

SSGC announces gas supply schedule for Eid-ul-Adha

KARACHI: The gas crisis in Karachi has intensified, severely affecting the daily lives of the citizens.

Along with announced load shedding, unannounced gas shutdowns are also continuing in different areas of the city, causing severe hardship to the people. Residents of many areas, including Lyari, have expressed deep concern over the situation.

Residents say that there are already problems with electricity and water, now the continuous shortage of gas has made life even more difficult. Domestic consumers are especially affected.

According to local residents, gas is supplied for only a few hours a day, and even during this time the pressure is extremely low. Due to low pressure, cooking has also become difficult, which is affecting daily activities.

Residents of Lyari said that the unannounced load shedding of gas has worsened the situation. They are already facing difficulties due to inflation, and now it is not possible for them to buy expensive gas cylinders.

Citizens have demanded that the government immediately improve gas supply. The lack of basic facilities is increasing the burden on the common man, which requires urgent measures to reduce.
