LAHORE: Sources say that Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO ) has fully banned installment options for electricity bills in June so that the recovery target can be achieved.

According to instructions from the newly issued order, customers would not be given any installments on present and due bills anymore, and field officials would collect the dues with their target.

It has been ordered to collect present bills with due amounts at the same time, with a focus on collecting dues from defaulting customers.

The recovery campaign will be targeted at domestic, commercial, and industrial consumers. At the same time, sources also claimed that the management of LESCO has issued directions to the employees not to reconnect the electricity supply in case it was disconnected due to non-payment until full recovery has been made.
